Mighty New World Part 3.

'Ello again lovies. I finially finished up my new living Vivarium this morning. It sstill looks a bit skecthy, but time will do it well. Here's some pictures of the finished product and the little pond, all gussyed up and planted. Plus one of my frogs.

It looks much better in real-life, I'm not kidding. The UVA light does it good.
The pond in it's finished splendour.
'nother shot of the pond, still looks a bit scuzzy, but it'll fix it's self out in time.

Hey look it's a frog!, Wait there's two of them, can you find the other little bugger?

Mighty New World Part 1.

My Poison dart frog cage, from start to finish. I started with quite a few supplies and plants, which all cost me so money, as does everything.

I used:
One ten gallon tank with a duct-taped top to keep the moisture in
Two bags of a strange green coloured pebbles
a small bag of white sand
Two pieces of Cork bark
one small driftwood branch
A piece of plexiglass cut to fit the cage
Jungle Mix substrate
Moss
multiple plants (Ferns, mosses, bromeliads and ivy)
Sewing pins

Here's the ten gallon, in all it's new clean glory.
Here's the filter system I set up so the water doesn't rot the plants.

The top, it's basically the pebbles with the plexiglass sheet over it.
Here's the little pond I made after I put the Jungle mix in.

The cage withe substrate and cork bark all read for plantage.

and then the rest of the photos are of after I put the plants up.

Mighty New World Part 2.

Hey everybody, I recently got a pair of green and black poison dart frogs in July and finally got around to making them a decent cage. It ate quite a bit of my paycheck, but it was worth it. Here's some pictures of the plant filled nearly finished tank.

Feathered Friends

In just a few short days the babies have already grown feathers and are about ready to fly. I'll love to see this.

Awwwwwww Soooo fluffy
Awwwww. He's so cute now, but not when he wakes you up at six in the morning chirping for food... There're like alarm clocks from hell.
Miserable bird is miserable.

Birds are back

'Ello, back with pictures of my plumb little horny birds. Cute as they may be they are evil incarnate when they wish to be.

Hehehe, my Zebra hen looks curious, but my silverbill looks like he just crapped himself.
I be a creeper staring at cha' as you sleep. (Ladies and Gentlemen we have another canidate for Edward "stalker" Cullen, I think he'd do a better job than the other guy. ;P )
The little horny puffballs I call birds. I swear it's like bird porn every five minutes.
Here's a better picture of Alastair my Indian Silverbill. He's a sweetheart.
And after a bit of research I find out the pet store lied. He's not a silverbill. he's a Brown black Soceity Finch! Supposedly a very treastured colouration. Go Oreo, you're special!
After many days of sex the birds are paid off, with this! (which they destoryed in their mad rush to move the nest to the other side. Dl )
Here's the baby from the clutch they laid on the other side of the cage. He's about two weeks old and HUGE. They started off smaller than a nickel.
In the immortal words of Liz Smith "Bitch, get me a sandwich!"
Here's the proud and ADD parents. They barely even sit on them anymore.

Here's my little Silverbill Finch I got with the pair. I'm pretty sure it's a female. but she's so small and scared, I hope she lightens up a bit.

See you later my valued customers!

'Ello Kiddies. Back again with fresh organs!

These are the peices for my CD booklet of my art final. Note the ridiculous song in German I did for this said project. My art teacher is going to stare at me even weirder now.
